...............I chose to begin my private practice in a serene and peaceful setting, the house that so graciously hosted Brenda Kay’s for many years.  I chose to call my practice “The Journey Home” because life with all of its challenges, sometimes brings us to a place of heartfelt longing for… home…… that safe place within us that settles our mind and calms our fears.  Our  longing for “home” can sometimes feel like our desire to be accepted, our desire to belong, our desire to be emotionally safe….our desire to be loved. Have you ever longed to be a part of your own life as it seemed to zoom right past you? If only we could get home…. home…. but where is that peaceful place we long for? Where is home? And is it possible to find it even if we have never experienced such a place?  Yes, I believe it is not only possible, but necessary, and I hope that you will allow me to travel with you as you make your own “journey home”.

“…for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the
outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart”.

I Samuel 16:7
